In the early 2000's Chris Malone was the singer/songwriter and lead guitarist for the Industrial Metal band,  Ritual Fixx.

Ritual Fixx toured extensively and shared the stage with bands like Static X, Otep, Outshine, Rearview Mirror and Quiet Riot.

in 2007, Fixx released "It's a good day to destroy something beautiful" on Zerobudget Records.

Ritual Fixx were also endorsed by Halo Guitars, Coffin Case, Monster Picks, Tone Pro's bridges, DiMarzio pickups, Xcel drumsticks and Madison amplifiers.

After a lengthy run and numerous personnel changes, Ritual Fixx quietly disbanded in 2010 and Chris embarked on an instrumental career.

What started as an experimental one man musical production was soon conceived into the debut album under the moniker "Pornocreep 13".

Born out of a twisted, forbidden love for instrumental guitar rock ala Steve Vai and Joe Satriani, and industrial music like Nine Inch Nails, Ministry, and Chicago's own WORM, Chris Malone crafts a unique & musical vision of instrumental guitar music.

The first album "Mugged, Cussed, & Bitten" was recorded over the course of roughly 4 years and was released on Zero Budget Records in 2008.

The vision of this new sound was first hinted at on "Mugged, Cussed, & Bitten". 2010 Chris picked up where he left off and started writing material for a second album. Over the course of the next 2 years the album metamorphasized musically from a gothic, mid-tempo, HIM-influenced sound to a stranger, darker, John Carpenter-esque sound.

Chris Malone's 2012 sophomore album "Heretic Red", released under his own name, delivering a fresh take on the instrumental genre like you've never heard before. Chris shows his fretboard proficiency while not going overboard and maintaining the core hooks of the album. The melodic leads of the guitar seamlessly fuse with the horror movie inspired synthesized scores, prominent piano, and atmospherics. A style he would also champion on the subsequent follow ups "Guitar Villain", 2018's self titled "Chris Malone" and 2019's "CREEP".

"CREEP" debuted at NAMM 2019 and was released as a very limited edition physical release of only 100 copies with digital release to follow.

Chris is also the lead guitarist in the band American Standard.

He is currently endorsed by Reverend Guitars, DiMarzio Pickups, Mitchell Guitars, Ghostfire Audio, Railhammer Pickups, Rowin Pedals, Planet Tone Pickups, Swiss Picks ,Tesi Switch & Morley pedals.

You can catch Chris playing with American Standard in only the finest bars/venues across the midwest...
